Memorial Health System Hires Kimberly Haverly as Hospital Administrator (CEO)

Memorial Health System, central Kansas-based a comprehensive healthcare provider in Abilene, Kansas and an affiliate of Salina Regional Health Center, has appointed Kymberly Haverly as Hospital Administrator (CEO). MHS partnered with Buffkin / Baker on the executive search.

In her role as Hospital Administrator, Kimberly will align facility and departmental plans with the system’s strategic goals, leading efforts to improve efficiency and expand programs and services. She will strengthen relationships with board members, medical staff, and community stakeholders to drive collaboration and support strategic growth. Kimberly will also champion high-quality, cost-effective care through service line development and care model transformation, while honoring the organization’s history and culture. Kimberly will report to the President and CEO of Salina Regional Health Center, Joel Phelps.

Kimberly brings over 20 years of experience to MHS, having recently served as CEO at Carroll County Memorial Hospital. There she was responsible for fostering strong relationships with medical staff, team members, and the community while developing strategic and operational plans and managing a lean annual operating budget. Prior to CCMH, Kimberly was an Adjunct Professor at Ivy Tech Community College. Earlier roles include Director of Finance & Physician Compensation at Baptist Health System, Director of Finance at Floyd Memorial Hospital, and Practice Administrator and COO at Lexington Foot & Ankle Center. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley.
